Bloomington, IL (November 17, 2017) - School districts throughout the states of Pennsylvania and South Dakota now can purchase Gaggle Safety Management at a significant discount.
Gaggle has added two new statewide contracts to an extensive list of state consortiums working with the company to help keep students safe on school-provided G Suite for Education, Microsoft Office 365 and Canvas learning management system accounts.
Gaggle Safety Management combines machine learning technology along with real people to reveal potentially harmful content in email, documents, shared files, images, photos and more. Trained professionals evaluate content 24/7/365, alert school officials of unsafe situations and can even contact local law enforcement.
"Pennsylvania Intermediate Units, through Pennsylvania Instructional Media Services (PAIMS), is pleased to enter a partnership with Gaggle providing consortia statewide pricing for Gaggle Safety Management services," said Ken Zimmerman, Instructional Technology Specialist with Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13' Instructional Services Department. "We hope our districts will greatly benefit from this partnership." School districts interested in consortia information should contact their local Intermediate Unit’s Instructional Media Services coordinators, managers or directors.
In addition to new partnerships with the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units (PAIU) and the State of South Dakota K-12 Data Center, Gaggle has similar agreements with contract vehicles in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Missouri and Wisconsin.
"Our goal is to make sure that Gaggle Safety Management can be as easy as possible for school districts to purchase," said Bill McCullough, Vice President of Sales at Gaggle. "We never want price to get in the way of keeping students safe and saving lives."
In South Dakota, school districts can work directly with Gaggle. For districts using the k12.sd.us Google Apps domain, the necessary settings have already been configured. More information about Gaggle licensing, including contact information, pricing and state contract details, is available on the members' site (Support tab > Licensing link).
